VAMPALLE DOCUMENTATION
A BGM DESIGN GAME - 1994 PRODUCTIONS
By Asa Margetts and David Charman
INTRODUCTION
Vampalle is Public Domain Freeware, so may be spread in a BIG WAY! Even
though it is a small game, it should keep you busy for a while. Vampalle
really came from the name of the charactor - Vampire Alien = VamPalle, the
game took approx. two and ahlaf weeks to do, which doesn`t sound like alot,
but each day was taken up by about seven hours of programming, drawing and
animating. We have programmed several titles so far such as:
Tadas II
BUG!
The Summoning
Seed of Darkness
X-Password (Util)
even though we are reletively new to programming.
GAME
The idea of the game is quite simple ie. Shoot the geezas, collect items,
solve puzzles etc. The actual theme to this is: Vampalle the Alien Crash
landed on an unknown planet, namely: Planet BGM. It features areas and
people like aliens and humans. As the ship was crash landing, you ejected -
NOW YOU MUST TRAVEL THROUGH THE PLANET TRYING TO FIND YOUR SHIP, SAVAGE THE
PIECES AND HEAD FOR HOME!
The game isn`t that large as the main file of the game we were trying to
keep as small as possible as this game was hopefully going to feature in a
compilation. We hope you do enjoy the game though.
ANY COPYRIGHT?
As it happends, no. This game is PD FREEWARE, so maybe spread a copied
anywhere, whether it is over seas or just to a nextdoor neighbour. We just
ask that you don`t change the game in anyway, such as disassembling it in
any way.

REQUIREMENTS
This game should work on all AMigas with one meg of memory. Before the game
was executabley crunched with an executable cruncher to save disk space, it
was test on a one meg Amiga and worked. Even though it is crunched, it
should still work on a one meg Amiga.
TESTED
This game was programmed and tested on an Amiga 500+ with 2Meg of ram chip,
external drive and hard disk.
AND NOW SOMETHING NOTHING TO DO WITH THE GAME BUT HELPED ME IN MANY WAYS:
THANKS TO THE FOLLOWING:
Paul Gumsley; For Creating WAC - Best AMOS Mag EVER! (See Later)
Alistair Lyons; For creating CUM Another good magazine!
And that`s it!
(Above) is mentioned about WAC. Paul Gumsley is the writer of this excellent
disk based magazine. WAC stands for `Whitby AMOS Magazine` and I have to say
is excellent for reading and learning. If you program in AMOS, then this is
FOR YOU! If you send him a blank disk and a SAE he will send you a free copy
(Issue1) of WAC! His address:

If you write to him:
Just mention my name, otherwise he will wonder how you came about his
address.
ALISTAIR LYONS is also mentionned above, he has created a paper based
magazine, issue 1 is only 70p, just send it to:
